Just Dandyby ellamayComment by ccasey: Great shot--I can never get this clarity and sharpness in focus when shooting. Have to start using a tripod more. I'll read you're notes on how you did. It looks like you did some sharpening in the software. I had a shot like this too, but no where near as good as this. |

Just Dandyby ellamayComment by e301: so nearly submitted a shot starting from the same idea myself. So maybe I'll be a touch harsh on you having played with dandelion macros for a couple of days myself. It lacks a fine edge of impact (only just) - perhaps I mean more a sense of texture, a sense of really being close to the thing, involved with it. Fine detail in the seeds is good, but the finenness of the head itself is missing. Is this actually pushed up against the lens? Can't work out how you've lost no seeds, but at the same time they're not in the way ... 6 |

Just Dandyby ellamayComment by Fotowereld: I know this picture has been done before (even I did it!) but yours is truly great! It shows so much detail and I love the cropping..everything is in place, you worked great together with nature! It resembles a mandala!
The colours are great, very peacefull, love the lighting (how did you manage to get all..fluffies (don't know the English word :P ) so white???
Superb this...(I imagine the picture with a larg wooden frame)

Crawling Catsby ellamayComment by cghubbell: Awesome detail! I like the depth of field in this as almost anything more in focus would compete with the busy subject. Great job! |
