Hi Eve,

Thanks for relating your daughters comment about my 'Fly By Night' photo. It didn't do to well in that particular challenge but it was fun to 'make'. I must admit, I haven't participated in many challenges lately - I've been to busy doing purely Aviation Photography. I must say I admire your dedication to your floral photography - it's really good. But this photo caught my eye as it's close to home. Great job and I love the B&W. I just hope the water levels don't fall to much more, they've just recently moved a whole boat pier due to the falling water levels. A local and hopefully not globally problem but I'm afraid it is. What a nice bright flower to brighten the winter days! Love the angle of light on this. I like your depth of field and the nice, bright colours. I might be tempted to clone out the white bits on the one petal if it was mine. Well done.
