vintage style ladyby takinou42Comment by bs-photos: Glamourous! I might've cloned out the bright spot in the upper left corner (a light maybe?). I like the pose & the b&w definitely works well for this. |

B&W view of imagineer's Pride of londonby takinou42Comment by boyd2000: It's the same scene, but not the same angle, sharpness, color, field of view, tide, time of day, etc etc. I don't think this fits the challenge well. I didn't submit to this challenge because what I had of two totally different scenes wasn't identical to the original by a couple of minor points. Maybe I should have submitted anyway. |

B&W view of imagineer's Pride of londonby takinou42Comment by Judi: I like the colour and the stillness of the original. This has its own identity. On its own it would do well...but in a Deja Vu Challenge where you are meant to emulate.....I think this should have been taken more like the original...as much as possible anyway. |

B&W view of imagineer's Pride of londonby takinou42Comment by CNovack: Nice angle that provides interesting lines for the eye to follow in the composition. B & W tones are good and you have a nice dynamic range in your composition. The main suggestion I have is that you need better sharpness in that 'bridge'. It is too blurred for the viewer to appreciate the details like we see in the building. I can't tell if it is due to you focusing on the building while moving causing the blur on the bridge or if you need to increase the DOF by using a smaller aperture of (8 or above) so that both foreground and background are in sharp detail. |
