Bloomingby vaquerosComment by Manic: I'm not sure if having the blooming flower out of focus helps the transition, but I still like the photo regardless :o)

Bloomingby vaquerosComment by rjhawkin: a young and an old sunflower, too bad the one in the foreground is so out of focus.

Bloomingby vaquerosComment by Mousie: needs a much deeper focal plane to get both flowers in focus, and the flash feels really hot. Did you try a longer exposure without the flash?

Bloomingby vaquerosComment by Ronin: The foreground is distracting,.. next time try some other depths of field.

Bloomingby vaquerosComment by langdon: The sun flower on the left already seems to have the bloomed, and what looks to be a blooming sun flower, on the right, is far to out of focus. I think reversing the focal point from the bloomed to the blooming would make this image very strong.
