Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!by MikeOComment by raish: Two on the bounce is bad statistics :) They're both great pictures, though. As much as the DQs suck, I'd say you have priority #1 covered. |

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!by MikeOComment by colorcarnival: That's too bad about the DQ but this motion blur really gives this a cool effect! I love that moment captured. I may have to try this. |

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!by MikeOComment by MikeO: Used motion blur (twirl) in PSP to give it the effect. Anyway 2 dq's on the trot means I am either getting confused or just going senile. Thanks for your comments, they are always much appreciated. Special thanks to yo_spiff for making it a favourite. Message edited by author 2009-09-08 09:11:27. |

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!by MikeOComment by Paul: OK, I'm going through the Free Study submissions, purposefully finding those images I think are shot with a less conventional eye - this is one of those images! Thanks for offering something that isn't just DPC friendly eye-candy (though of course there's nothing wrong with eye-candy):
Positives: This is a really interesting effect which complements the subject matter perfectly. The monochrome treatment works - I imagine that colour would too but nonetheless I like this monochrome image. I like the way the image has a both abstract and real-world feel.
Critical stuff: I think there is a limited amount of interest in this scene but I think you have done a good job at capturing it in this photograph.
Overall: I'd be curious to a see a colour version but nonetheless this is an interesting and engaging image. |

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!by MikeOComment by BeckyT: Just looking at it makes me dizzy and want to throw up. Great emotive shot if you know what I mean. Great choice to use B/W tones. |
