Although the fence wires are a little disturbing, they don't really decrease the quality of this image somehow. I think cropping out the top half of the ostrich out the back is more disturbing. Otherwise this is a great pic, with the main subject full in focus and the shallow DOF blurring the background. Personally, I would have kept the whole ostrich in the background in the shot.

Great expression! I think this would have been a stronger composition had you panned down a bit. The head seems to be a bit too centered.
