Vanishng Pathby MikeOComment by MikeO: Thanks for your comments, always appreciated. The sky was intentionally blown out/overexposed as I converted this to b&w. I am going through a black and white phase at the moment and tend to favour high contrast shots.

Vanishng Pathby MikeOComment by WaysOfSeeing: Although a tad overexposed, I really do like this image. I like the effect of the pattern of shadows throughout the length of the path that are created due to the fence posts. I especially like the urban feel of the image, it instantly makes me think of the back of a basketball court down- town or something. Good luck! |

Vanishng Pathby MikeOComment by melismatica: This is an interesting shot. I'm not sure how I feel about the extremely narrow cropping. Was the blown out background intentional? I would suggest that the area of shaodow in the foreground is more interesting the background. Your meter seems to have read from the darker foreground which overexposed the background. In this case, the thing to do is fool your camera's meter by setting it to a -EV number. You'll get a shorter exposure which will result in a more natural sky and greater detail in the area of shadow play in the foreground. |

Webbedby MikeOComment by Amason: this doesn't convey the central theme "feet" good enough, although it has feet in it. |

Webbedby MikeOComment by Dave Gordon: Great closeup; I really like the colors. The feet stand out, but they don't look webbed. |
