I think it would be even better if taken with a wider angle lens, I suspect you used 35mm or larger here. I think a shorter focal lenght would have increased the perspective and would have added drama by making the roal appear much longer and the end of the road much further away.

The 'S' is a tad short (funny how the eyes complete what's not there) but I'm not holding that against you (much) - gave this an 8 initially and coming back around for comments.
