Not really much 'hugging' going on and it looks like the 'kiss' is already over. It also looks like somebody's thumb or at least an object in the foreground is obscuring part of the view. The conversion to black and white is a good choice I think as it helps with a good contrast in tones.

It seems a little soft on the detail, so I looked at the file size. There is some excessive JPEG compression taking away some detail, and visible artifacts on the faces. Your file size is only 42k and you could have used up to 150k for this challenge. Compression kills detail. Always use the least compression you can get away with and still come in under challenge limits.

I'm going to guess that your low votes on this one were as much or more for subject matter than for the photograph itself. It is kinda funny (I see you put it in the humorous gallery) but most probably don't like to see drug use condoned, and one would question whether friends should let friends get stoned (as far as linking it to the challenge topic). As for the photograph - yep, she definitely looks stoned! I like the composition, especially with the OOF girl behind with the cards. Makes me wonder what the game is, and whether or not she has a good hand (she looks like she does). Perhaps a little snap-shot'ish, but I think snapshots are a valid form of photography. You documented the moment well, and this has a silly "high" sort of feel to it. It's just not to the taste of your audience, I don't think.

I'd say having the mouth open with some food showing wont find lots of admirers in here :)
Maybe taking a bite, a title that promote eating healthy would be a better composition,

Just seems a snapshot, and the slogan does not really motivate me in any way. However, seeing this guy chewing with his mouth open does motivate me to give this a low vote. Sorry to be so harsh, but this just does not work for me on any level.
