looks like you were going for symmetry, so the tower on the right should be touching the right corner too - a crop would help you there.

To me the meaning of "good" photography is showing someone your unique perspective on the world. So a lower angle, higher angle, closer, farther away in context with the "new" world, evening light, morning light, dappled light from clouds - you get my drift?

So when you walk up in the middle of the day, point your camera up to the highest tower, and click - well it's going to get a "snapshot" label around here.

But it's a good start - a place we all started at one time. So stick around, vote the challenges and comment on what works and what doesn't in a photo for you and you'll learn tons about your style. Then shoot and enter the challenges with your new found style and start refining it.

You'll learn tons - and get better - and hopefully find a mentor or two - oh, and have fun. :-)

Hope that's helpful.

Hi, welcome to DPChallenge. The best way to find out if a shot is good is to enter it into a contest. Most people around arn't going to give you much input untill you get more active in the site. I think you should have posted this one in the current shapes challange. Oh well too late now. Good luck. I would personally like the image but I would like it more with the landscape and people you cut out.
