Exposing A New Dimensionby ColeyComment by JayMutter: Great shot. I'm sure it took some time to get the exposure and colour worked out but it's worth it. I'm guessing slight movement on the head (-2pts) but your kid must have been gettgin tired of you by then (+1 pt for her).
Keep up the good work.

Exposing A New Dimensionby ColeyComment by jmsetzler: Very creative use of lighting here... I would probably like this composition more if it was cropped in tighter to remove the emptiness on both sides of your subject. That empty space doesn't seem to be supporting the subject in any way that I can determine. |

Exposing A New Dimensionby ColeyComment by BobsterLobster: Strange ratio of negative space to subject here. Also a strange crop. I think I'd have liked to see more space above the head, and less below the hand. Perhaps in portrait orientation as well. Shame, as this is a very strong shot otherwise. Great idea, and great colours. 7
Edit: Only one helpful comment? That seems to be insulting on all the other people who bothered to comment on your picture. Message edited by author 2003-10-20 06:24:24. |

Exposing A New Dimensionby ColeyComment by jonpink: Good points:colours are great, expression fitting
Bad points: too much black eitherside, a portrait image shot in landscape sizes?
