Looks just a little staged to me only because the pose is so unnatural. Why would somebody be standing in the middle of the road with their head down in their jacket?

i think i would have like this photo better if she was walking, just to add some movement. i like the feeling though... the sky, the way she looks, the whole feeling... just looks too staged

yes, very effective. Pity that she is not walking and her feet do not have a dynamic pose. It seems she is posing. But the sense of solitude is very well goven. Bravo.

I think this would have been more powerful if you had cropped out the telephone poles. A very good shot and the coloring of the clouds is really nice.

Nice composition, wish the lightbox wasn't in the photo though. Also find the bright white lights to be distracting. I love the warm orange color and then the stark black of the twiggy tree against it. I also like the reflection on the ground helping to tie the whole composition together. I think it would be better if it was cropped more at the top, the shadows above the ledge draw the eye up and out of the image. Great photo! 7
