I really can't put my finger one what makes this image so effective. There doesn't seem to be anything particularly out of the ordinary about it, yet I feel compelled to give it an 8. That's the power of simplicity I guess. NIce idea, great execution = high score. Simple equation - and one that you have clearly perfected. (apologies if I have the identiy of that shaved head wrong).
