Great shallow DOF. Good coloring in the bed of leaves I guess they are. Not sure about poverty with the nice shoes and decent clothes.

Interesting shot, although I am not sure it's that appealing.

I love the rock or slate that runs through the middle that has a lot of interest but the reflections look a bit odd, I am assuming this is a macro of a puddle / pool which is pretty cool but something about the shot just doesn't quite work making it feel awkward. If I work out what it is later I will come back and comment on it.

A type of entry that I expected to see a lot of in this challenge, but using a reflection in a puddle is very effective and slightly different approach. It has almost a surreal, model-like appearance to it. I think I'm faving this one.
