First of all, let me say, "wow", this photo is georgeous. I was not able to vote for this challenge, but I probably would have given you a 7. The sky is georgeous, the composition is great; you've framed the trees well. I love the soft pine needles and how they silhouette against the colourfull background.

You finished with a very good score, but I think it finished a little lower than I'd like because it is subtle. It appears you have fill flashed the grass, and this is probably the 4th thing I notice in the photograph (sky, moon and trees are more dominant). I would love to see a version where the flash created a rim light on the trees (from the side). It's hard to say without comparing the two versions side by side which one would be better.

I personally find this to be an awesome shot. I love the muted colors in both the sky and water. BY using a slow shutter speed, you have effectively use not only the rocks, but also the water to draw my eyes out towards the ships on the horizon. A very good use of the rule of thirds here too.
I gave this shot a 10 during voting, and feel it placed much too low.

Hi there. It is always nice to critique a Pro ;) I checked your site, I probably did many times before, you do have tons for good work there. Here I think you did try something new. This is a mixed photo of two. One that got you better scores, the bottom of the photo and the top portion of the photo, which might gave you some bad scores.Why is that?

First of, whoever gave you 1 is a jerk. Totally troll, and don't worry about it. Your better portion of the photo has a very nice color scheme, shades of blue. Exposure is very nicely done to get that kind of feeling from a sea. If you had only that portion with a half naked woman sitting or standing top of those rocks... well, enough said I guess.

The top portion, I think I have seen this about everywhere... Not much going on, jut to give some extra colors to this photo, I think it's ok for some.

Composition is very good. 2/3 is the sea and the rocks, the main attraction, and the rest to give some flavor.

Well done. If I did vote, which I didn't, I would give you 6 or 7 for this photo.

Please do keep up the good work. Trying new things always good, you should check the voters, and other people what they think about the new ideas such as this one.

Great shot, really like this!

Im assuming this was a longish exposure with a flash fired from the side to bring out a little detail in the grass.

This has a great mood to it that just makes me look over and over again!
