Got Oreos...Got Milk?by bruster54Comment by slaakso: I'm hungry even in B&W. The movement and the limited DOF really work well. I don't know what the white object is in the left third of the photo but it seems to call attention to itself. |

Crome Styleby bruster54Comment by CNovack: The composition and lighting make this piece very interesting. I see something no one else has mentioned. I see something that you really could have played up in this photo (although it may have detracted attention from the main focus of the challenge). The chrome sphere behind the two eggs is getting a reflection off of the eggs which make it look like two eyes. Specifically, the shape of the that sphere and the two eyes make it look like an alien head very similiar to what sci-fi fans call Greys. That imagery coupled with those two eggs makes me think of the sci-fi movie Alien and how they used to advertise it - an egg cracking open with a green glow. All you would have needed to further establish a stronger connection was to have one of those supermarket checkout rags that proclaim in the headline that "Aliens have landed!!!" |

Angles Toward Heavenby bruster54Comment by Simplicity: This is a very interesting photo. So much that captures the eye. I love all the curves and angles. The puffy clouds add interest to this shot. You did a wonderful job on the angle you shot this at, and the cropping is superb! |

Dripping Wetby bruster54Comment by Simplicity: I really like this photo! I can almost 'feel' the wet paint on my hands. You captured this beautifully! Good choice of colors. Nice clarity and lighting. Well done! |

Tumblin' Downby bruster54Comment by ccjp: Cool! Since by design you have motion blur to the right, I would have focused on the far pieces to the left. |

Tumblin' Downby bruster54Comment by ChrisW123: Cool, I like "unique" shots like this. Hope you give a short desc. on how you did it, with the lighting used, shutter speed, etc. |

Tumblin' Downby bruster54Comment by Natator: Now that is what I call getting the speed right!
Ok, no, second thoughts .....
Any chance of a mini "how'd they do that?" on this photo? I can't get my head around how you got that excellent effect. More to it than just the right shutter speed? |
