In the Suavety of a Waveby zeuszenComment by e301: Managed to capture a sense of solidity in this water - like a carving, rather than like ice (if it is ice, then you've fooled me). I find the white/grey-point trying visually - it seems to have put a lot of the detail into a small area of brightness, and asks too much of the eye for me, especially in a complex and imprssionistic composition like this. Also can't escape the impression of a face in the background, accidentally or otherwise. And the title ... |

+ Excellent depth just look at the right side! This photo truly has the feeling the water can continue to float in a second. Great sharpness and interesting composition.
- The photo is a tad too dark. |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment by nborton: the person at the bottom makes this shot. without him there is no scale at all. very cool shot with the person. without him just average. |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment by admart01: The best "water" in the competition and the best overall shot (imho!) I like the scale (the person makes it great!) the blurring water softens the rock. Lighting is wonderful. One of my picks for a ribbon |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment by Shelley: Wow, when I first saw the top part, I thought it was a little water flow thru some rocks until I saw the person standing there. What a great place and a nice shot too. |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment by Miah: i don't really get the feeling that david is defying goliath so much as.. something outside of the picture towards the right ;) I would like this photo more if he were staring up at the falls. speaking of which, where is this? |
