Enchanted BCby zeuszenComment by daisy77: cool treatment, love the digitization of it. not great as a "travel guide" shot but lovely and provocative nonetheless... |

Enchanted BCby zeuszenComment by brianlr: Hmmm ... not sure how to rate this photo, but it had immediate impact. I will be interested in how you obtained these effects within the rules! |

Enchanted BCby zeuszenComment by Imagineer: This is a very effective use of this treatment. I do think it's fairly inappropriate for this challenge since travel guides don't typically use this effect, but I have seen stuff like it in travel brochures. It is taking leave of photographic integrity somewhat, but if you're going to use the effect then this is a very good way to implement it.
You've probably got a very decent photo under the FX, so I'll add my voice to the doubtless many comments asking to see the original. I love the women's pose and the composition is superb. I bet this scores well despite the treatment as it is quite compelling.
Actually, I've never voted an artificially treated shot so highly. |

Enchanted BCby zeuszenComment by dacrazyrn: I really do like the look of this photo...but, it has lost its photographic integrity, to me. My eye is definitely drawn to the people and them trying to escape the rain. |

Enchanted BCby zeuszenComment by Dr.Confuser: Feels way over processed. I notice it has been validated, so I'm sure it's legal but the feeling of being over processed is a distraction. Great as a poster. Not great as a photo. |

Broken Ringsby zeuszenComment by e301: Oh hell this I love - it's like they've escaped, those scars of age. The replication of their pattern in the sand speaks of both the temporary and the permanent (we note that fossilised tree-rings have been used to determine environmental variations in millenia past - they are truly part of the permanent record), and yet the marks in the sand, we know, will not be there tomorrow. The light, editing of light, use of light, is wonderful. |
