The Wayby zeuszenComment by ubique: Well, I know it's you Z, because I saw and admired it elsewhere. But I'd almost certainly have known anyway; it would have been a choice of just two people. It's my clear top pick in the challenge because it's beautiful, deceptively simple, and I looked at it for longest and never got bored. Thank you. |

Playhouseby zeuszenComment by ubique: Recalls 1185 W Georgia. I eventually realised that to try to literally resolve such images is to do them a disservice. Their beauty comes not from what they are, but from what thoughts and emotions they inspire. The literal dimension plays just a supporting role, and a non-speaking part at that. And it takes some time for the viewer to get there, as it should. They are as good an illustration as any of the posthumous dictum about first emptying the mind; they have such capacity to gently fill it up again. It's a lonely row you hoe, Z, but the marks you make are indelible. Thanks. |

White Waterby zeuszenComment by pixelpig: I am not impressed by blurred water shots. Usually. But this one is very nice. Instant fav. |

White Waterby zeuszenComment by jnenvir: I'm inclined to suggest cropping the right side a bit. Have the dark portion about same width as on the left. Love the image. |
