Week 2by chris48083Comment by Ken: I like how she's toying with the camera, as if to say, "I dare you take the shot." It would be nice to see a bit more in the deep blacks; I'm getting mostly pure black in a lot of areas. |

Week 2by chris48083Comment by Melethia: A mysterious woman - even with the shades off, you can't see her eyes. You may have dodged the whites a bit - if you did, it may be a bit much. The background doesn't bother me. In fact I kinda like the elbow in there. Of course, the use or not of the background would depend a great deal on what your client wants. |

Week 2by chris48083Comment by BAMartin: Overall I really like this image, she is a beautiful model and you have done her justice. I am a bit bothered by her eyes, I wish I could see them better, its almost like she is hiding behind a mask. |

Week 2by chris48083Comment by SandyP: Yes, she is an awesome model. She looks like she enjoys the heck out of the camera. She kind of reminds me of photos I've seen of MAK's wife. Very pretty! And a very dramatic subject for a black and white photo. |

Week 2by chris48083Comment by fixedintime: You captured a good expression on her face and the crop puts her in a good place in the image.Three things bother me. First I find the background a bit busy. The elbow intrudes on the image and the dark hair and the dark background behind her don't mix well for me. Second I would like to see a bit more of her eyes. This hidden eyes work well, they are just a bit too dark for me. Third, it looks like here forehead is a bit over sharpened - or perhaps it need a bit of a blur to smooth it out a bit. |

Week 7by chris48083Comment by trevytrev: cool action shot, I like the texture as it gives this an old picture feel which goes well with the rodeo theme. nicely done! |

Playing by the Riverby chris48083Comment by meyers: I like the hyper-saturated look of this image; it fills the background with the energy of a small child, making the scene almost fantasy-like. This should have scored much higher. |

Week 7by chris48083Comment by WalesP: It's a great action shot with the cowboys expression and the bronc in mid-stride. However, it took a moment for my eyes to zero in on the cowboy and bronco as they are clumped together with the BG. Maybe some more contrast or DOF to get those guys to stand out. Or maybe, instead of darkening the BG... what would would it look like if you lightened the BG? |
