Fantastic shot: the white thing on the water's edge is distracting...can't make out what it is. and it pulls away from the brightness of the comet.

Right place, right time, right equipment, right composition, right clear sky, right pleasing, right with the dead tree on one side and live on the other (life to death implied), right knowlege about exposure, right contrast of the tail with the stars, right reflection in the still water.
