Morning coffeeby John WhiteComment by racb: Lighting and composition could both be better. Maybe it would be better if you had shown an ariel view of the whole cup? |

Morning coffeeby John WhiteComment by neophyte: There's nice tones in there somewhere, Its just that the lighing doesn't let them show. Shadows detract from this. |

Morning coffeeby John WhiteComment by Tammer: While this isn't a bad photo to me, it's just such a tight closeup, I personally don't find it all that appealing. If your shot showed a bit more or some of the cup/mug I would have scored it better. I do like the lighting though. :) |

Morning coffeeby John WhiteComment by metoecus: Without the context of the challenge and the title, this looks rather unappealing. This looks like it was an attempt at a macro shot, but it's not quite large enough to feel right. Having the bubbles lit more form the side would give them more depth. which would help this to look more dramatic.

Morning coffeeby John WhiteComment by bcoble: Does not look very appetizing here. Perhaps a little more of the cup showing may have helped. Lighting also may be a issue here. The dark corner I am drawn to. |
