Everything in this image is excellant. The monotone color is complimentary to the mood and the image is so crisp and sharp that it appears to be 3D and very life like. The single background subject in comtemplation of another image is a terrific artistic touch. Everything in this image is properly controlled and presented - a demonstration of an author taking the time to compose and execute the perfect mood with a sense of time and space. Very well done - this should place well into the top ten if not a ribbon winner.

A great image just slightly flawed by the water drops ahead of the duck. A good action capture, it's properly framed with good detail and motion capture. The reflection of the wave on the surface of the water is simply unbelivable - in and of itself, a major achievement. This image could work upside down - an example of both technical and artistic excellance. Well done.
