He seems very shy and like an outcast. He's barely in the frame and away from the others. There's a lot of division going on. The nearby tree acts almost as a barrier to the other horses and the shallow DOF enhances that separation as does the perpendicular line they form. I'm not sure a better composition exist!

Fantastic shot - great colours and glad2badad was on the mark about your title! Excellent clarity and exposure - I have found that feathers can be surprisingly reflective sometimes, causing loss of detail in the highlights if one does not take charge of the exposure. A shallower depth of field would have helped this one as the background is just starting to become distracting.

This is a good bird picture. The little flash of colour on his wing is nice - it may have been lost if you hadn't had such a simple background. They can be a challenging subject, birds, I know, I've tried!

Ok, your titles are putting a smile on my face - in combo with the photo of course. :) The title for this one is perfect! Great color and clarity here. The photo is also well balanced with the slight diagonal line formed by the birds, anchored by the perch. Keeps the viewer engaged and non-wandering. Well done.
