This is a place that we fish regularly, so I knew I'd get the chance get a great image like this. I'd like to thank mother nature for cooperating. :-D (so much more of this is natural beauty than ability) And to break a few hearts, yes, it was staged. I had Aalden pump and reel (no fish) a few times while i took several shots.

An absolutely stunning image. Well composed, beautiful lighting.

My only nitpick is that when I first saw the image I said to myself "Wow that's impressive" and "that silhouette looks faker than a three dollar bill". The edges to my eye look impossibly sharp - almost as if a cardboard cutout was used in lieu of a human model. It just looks photoshopped to my eye which takes the image down several notches.
