This looks like bread, maybe cake. It appears grainy and soft, though, you might want to shoot at ISO 100 and use a flash or strong light to make it clearer and get rid of grain.

This picture has some problems. Aside from there being no subject, it's low in contrast and it's hard to see whether it's in focus or not. Try bumping up the contrast a lot, and I bet the different parts will pop a lot more.
