My attention is grabbed by the rocks of the title, with the strong blue sky and the hint of the moon - and then I spot the snow on the ground; quite unexpected! A pleasing composition, and an interesting landscape, although there does seem to be a bit of a halo around part of the top of the rocks.

It's a nice scene but i would have liked a bit more foreground interest to be honest. The blue sky is lovely and having the moon there is a plus and the rocks are great but there is so little going on the bottom third of the shot that i lose interest pretty quickly. 4.

I used to have one of these in my yard in Louisiana. They bloom so quickly and then are gone. You have very interesting lighting going on here and I love that they are all in focus.

Really great flower; I agree that the lighting is difficult here - I have never used fill flash, but perhaps it is called for here? I can think of some software tools - Highlight slider / recovery in Aperture or levels / curves in Photoshop might be able to bring back some of the details in the blown highlights.

Very graceful & complex - i had never seen a Sweamp Lily ! I like the dappled sunlight even if some blown highlights !
