The desat here (in my opinion) fails to enhance the photo, and so serves more as a distraction in what would be otherwise a very nice picture.

Not sure about your monitor calibration, but on mine it appears that you have used the burn tool or attempted to color the horizon to the left of the shot. I cannot make out what it is at the horizon, but it does appear to me that you have tried to darken it. I would be interested to know if it is visible on your screen and if it was intentional.

Hi there! :)

I see some very strong points in this image, particularly the focus being quite deliberate. I also like the shadow of the Pi shape. What I don't like, however and what I think held your votes back is that there is a good bit of digital noise and the blacks are not crisp black and whites crisp white. Brighter light overall or a higher ISO would be two possible solutions to give you a cleaner, more crisp image.
