Gazing Down On His Empireby mian3010Comment by karmat: I like that the background is blurry -- it helps to isolate the subject. However, it feels like the composition is too centered. A tighter crop would help, or changing the perspective so that the cat doesn't have a grill coming out of it would be helpful as well. |

DSC_2179.jpgby mian3010Comment by weegi70: Hey, this is a very good picture, great focus on the subject and nice use of depth of field. with that said, the only thing that takes away from this photo, is the position of the subject. his head is dead center, it might be a little more appealing if his head was on the top rule of thirds, and i think him being in the middle is ok, just the head should be higher in the frame. thats my opinion though.
