This is very nicely taken. I like the black and white. I think showing two subjects for in the frame for this challenge is a little confusing.

I have no idea what this is a picture of, its some sort of manufactured metalic object? But I don't know what. I think that's what make it so appealing. That and the texture of the metal, the tones and the lighting. Oh yes and I think the black border enhances the image.

I agree. It is way out of my normal mode. It's been a good learning experience so far. I don't intend to pursue it seriously, but since I have the opportunity to learn it, I plan to get as much out of it as I can...
