Destination Unknownby jmsetzlerComment by Germaine: They really went for the pretty colors in this challenge didn't they. I love this picture. I did one that was very similar for the Grain challenge. [thumb]//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=248482[/thumb] I just love the light, shadow, and lines you get in stairwells. |

Moonlight Sonataby jmsetzlerComment by Jutilda: I just stumbled across this in your portfolio. Wow - I really like so many things about it. Of course the image really grabs you with the cool blue tones, but I think it's the hands. They are so telling and I love their softness - like one of someone relatively young. But I think what I love most is how you tied this photo into the title - one of Chopin's most beautiful and well recognized pieces. The lighting in combination with the filter is most effective and creates a mood of mystery and a sense of incognito, as we can only see the midriff and her hands. Nice!!! |

Deo Vindiceby jmsetzlerComment by JPR: This had setzler written all over it! Masterful portraiture well enhanced by the grain, even if photos from that era weren't actually grainy. :) |

Deo Vindiceby jmsetzlerComment by graphicfunk: This image is expertly captured and carries the essence of this challenge. I am besides myself that it was not honored by a ribbon. By far, the strongest study without pretense of presentation. It is honest and expertly composed with the best use of grain. |

Deo Vindiceby jmsetzlerComment by graphicfunk: One of the most outstanding studies wherein the grain is used to full advatange to enhance what already is an outstanding image. Returning for final bump. |
