Bodie Island Light Stationby jmsetzlerComment by Yo_Spiff: A nice strong and smooth image. My only nitpick in there appears to be a slight tilt. That may just be a false perception on my own part. Popped it into my editor to check it, and it does indeed have a tilt to it. |

Bodie Island Light Stationby jmsetzlerComment by Teafran: This is a wonderful image with one little flaw - the light tower windows looks like streaks and are not defined. Those who are familiar with the light would know what the streaks are, but those who are could count this as an image defect. It might have worked to clone them out or maybe adjust the exposure to add some measure of definition to the windows. Otherwise, it's a wonderful image - very smooth and even tones from white through black. Effective use of lighting. Very well done. |

Song of the Southby jmsetzlerComment by Bear_Music: I'm totally liking this as I come back to it. I failed to comment on first pass, but it's been at 7 and I am bumping to 8. You've created a quiet, understated, intensely human image that resonates with me. The tonalities are wonderful overall. To my eye, it looks like the face has been dodged just a little too much, it just seems a hair too light, but that's a quibble. |
