But seriously, I really like this shot. The skin tone is great, and it's so sharp you can almost see individual pores. The lighting on the apple is super, with the highlighted area completely intact and not washed out at all. It looks like you spent a good bit of time choosing just the right apple for this, too. And finally, it all looks great against the black background -- that choice does great justice to the subject.

OK, I think it's a fantastic shot. The lighting is really perfect (IMHO) and the colours are great. I'd like to have more information on the subject: what kind of apple is it ?

I would be submitting this photo for the negative space challenge too...maybe just substitute the fruit for something else. You can never go wrong with naked women, IMO.
