Reflections of Fallby dtremainComment by BobsterLobster: Sky doesn't look good, everything is way oversharpened. Desperately needs colour balancing. Composition is not at all compelling. Nothing interesting in this shot to look at. |

Glowing in the Darkby dtremainComment by saiphfire: I like this idea a lot, but it's just too dark. On my screen I thought it was just a black square at first - I can barely make out the face. |

Glowing in the Darkby dtremainComment by arron_christensen: The concept of this pic is good. It is quite noisy though and looks to have been shot w/out a tripod, which is a must for real dark shots such as this. Also, would have liked to have seen a more natural glow from the pumpkin, but thats me. |

Glowing in the Darkby dtremainComment by NikonJeb: I know you're getting pinged right and left on darkness and negative space. I love this image! It's just plain flat creepy; evocative of all the horrors that you can conjure up on a cold, dank spooky night. This thing has got to be sitting at the house that no kid in his right mind will go within 100 yards 'cause they KNOW that the boogeyman lives there! 7 to help offset any bad votes.....8>) |

1902 Rural School Houseby dtremainComment by MaryO: Appropriate subject and nice to get the year in there for context. A little bright; for this challenge I would prefer to see it toned down to emphasize the "oldness." |
