Nice and colourful. A few suggestions for improvement - a whiter background & even lighting. Also, shoot it fom above so it's not on an angle. Center it perfectly and then it would be more like a Sherpet shot.

The thought is right there. I know the story behind this photo and that is something that is sometimes hard to do. Personally though I am missing the WOW factor.

I love editing on my laptop - didn't turn out as good as I'd hoped, now that I can look at it on regular monitors, but it didn't turn out as bad as I feared. The pig is a statue decorated to support the United Way. The close crop is to remove as many distracting environmental elements as possible (since it wasn't possible to move the pig to a more photogenic setting).
