With Bells Onby friscaComment by indigo997: lol. those are YOUR feet? I thought it was a little girl... about age 3 or so. It was one of my favorites in the challenge by far. There seems to be a bit of a quality issue... soft focus or maybe it's light reflecting off the embroidery. I can't put my finger on it, but it isn't as clear as it could be somehow. Still, very creative and wonderful. |

With Bells Onby friscaComment by adine: B&W is a good choice - the carpet and the skirt look like they;d be too busy in color. I'd like to see the dancer on a darker floor too. Still I like the focus on the feet from behind - really brings it down to the bells, and having the dancer up on toes gives sense of the motion which makes the bells ring. |

With Bells Onby friscaComment by DennisF: Nice tones. Good subject. Showing some motion would have made a stronger shot. A slower shutter speed might work. |

With Bells Onby friscaComment by wewillexplore: This is a great photojournal (setup) shot. I like the history and culture in this shot - it's not mine, and it is intriguing because of that. I think people should take more shots of things that matter to them and stop thinking about "5.5 vs. 6.5" neither is a ribbon - take shots that make you happy - like this one! 10 |

With Bells Onby friscaComment by qachyk: Heh, I was wondering if I still had my old ankle bells but I couldn't find them. Nice choice IMO therefore. A slightly different pose with the feet further apart might have given a bit more emphasis to the concept of motion and therefore ringing but it's certainly not absent with the feet in the position they are, I'm just nitpicking.
I'm a little uncertain why you chose B&W for this as all the traditional dances I can think of involving bells are things that involve very colourful costumery; I don't think it would have distracted but rather helped. However, that rug might be colourful enough to prove me wrong. |
