1:19 AMby QuadrajetComment by amazoneea: I love this picture. I wish I could say better why, but I don't know much. I just love the feeling that this picture gives me. It is a surrealistic looking imagine. I hope everybody will see what is obvious. It is a top 3 I will say now because I haven't seen all the images yet. But even after I would have seen them all, the beauty of this one, will still remain unchanged. :) Good luck! |

1:19 AMby QuadrajetComment by moodville: This certainly has a interesting visual/mood. I'm not sure what the building is, but it looks like there is a fire inside and the streaks are sparks and smoke. The orange inside the building are warm and appealing and sets the tone of the shot. The 'halo-like' effect of the smoke makes it almost supernatural. I think the composition could have probably been improved slightly, although not sure how and this may have been the best angle, I dont really know. I'm not sure if you did the angle to get the sun/moon in just that spot or to try and hide it. Either way it has a good feel to it, certainly captured a mood. |

1:19 AMby QuadrajetComment by LucidLotus: Good use of light, I like the rays coming over the building. The difference in colors with the warm orange against the cooler grey/blue adds interest, as does the perspective. There does however seem to be some glare, flares or something.. little white bits in the sky, they don't look like stars (though they may be) but it is rather distracting and detracts from the image. 5 Revising my vote after due to further info from photographer, they are stars and knowing how they came about made a difference. Upgrading to a 6 because I now understand why they look as they do but still find them distracting . |

1:19 AMby QuadrajetComment by Kavey: I find this strangely appealing, although I was dismissive of it on first viewing. It has quite a sci-fi feel and I like the contrast of the golden interior light to the white star light. Only negative for me is the flare of white light near the apex of the roof. Is that the moon or something else? |
