Midday Trainby bvyComment by jjstager2: I love the motion in the train. I wish the foreground and BG were in better focus. |

Fifth Avenue Walkby bvyComment by Iraklis: Everything here directs your attention to the elderly lady... The other people looking back at her, her cyan jumper and the light telling her to walk... Great!

Reciting His Poetryby bvyComment by Ken: Beautiful B&W photography and I love that negative space. Even though the motion is stopped, the energy is palpable. One of my faves of the challenge. |

Reciting His Poetryby bvyComment by dtremain: In a darkened hall, without looking up to see, if anyone should hear, he began to read his poetry. The images spilled forth from his imagination to words on a page, and on to the ears of anyone who would hear. And when he finished, he looked not around, but slowly returned to his chair and sat down. The room was silent - had anyone heard? It mattered not. The imagination was the thing.
While it may not matter to him, it mattered to those who heard. The bright, burning images of light playing on the water, of a maid despairing of ever finding a worthy mate, of the appearance of her knight in shining armor, disguised as the blacksmith's aide. The glowing hope of a bright future.
The audience sat in stunned silence for a while. But then they stood to applaud the poet, who cared not a bit. |
