Bridgebotby bvyComment by trevytrev: A very cool sculpture and a cool shot of it! I'm amazed at the detail in this Quaker Oats box shot! This is sharper than some lens shots I've seen in these here parts! Something very cool about making a camera out of ordinary objects, awesome job! |

Your point is a good one. I probably sound resentful or bitter toward the voters ("Don't you people know art when you see it?"), but really I shoudn't be. If I know my entry is going to be lost on the voters (pinhole is certainly a niche), why enter it? So that's my fault. Out of sheer morbid curiousity, I wanted to see what would happen. The number of pinhole challenge entries is small and there's a small group (myself included) watching and waiting to see how the next one will rank.
(By the way, yes, Abstract Motion would have been the smarter choice, and I should have reshot for it.) |

I don't think any of my phone-cam shots from last years side challenge would do well in voting, but like this, they were interesting experiments.
It does have a cool fisheye swoopiness to it and pleasing colors. I'll bet it would have scored higher in abstract motion. |

Bridgebotby bvyComment by MelonMusketeer: What a creative find, to see this and think about shooting it with your "Oatsy Cam". I too am impressed with the quality that you are achieving with your new gadget. |
