This should be called "The view from rock bottom" - Picture this. you just got kicked out of the miserable shelter you were staying in, you spend an evening drinking and drugging too much, get the crap beaten out of you and wake up after passing out in a pool of you own urine, blood and vomit behind a dumpster. You stagger to your feet, and walk out to the front side of thew dumpster, unable to lift your head- not knowing where you will get your next fix-and just as you wipe an unimaginably foul crust off the side of your face,you drop your last cigarette butt into the mud. As you try to keep focus to scan the ground, you see this- this vista of ordinary muddy garbage banality. this, "the view from rock bottom."
