Not too sure about the color here. Even the snow is the color of the sky. Content is alittle on the bland side. I am sure this is a beautiful place.

Too bad you couldn't captute the cardinal sitting on a branch rather than on a feeder stand. Focus is a little soft through the head/beak. Nice job with the light.

8 - Very nice. Like the lighting. Very nice composition. Criticism; whilst I like the 'effect' of those wings in the main focus and the softness to the other areas of the cardinal, just a fraction sharper, or better, a 'wider' DOF/focal area (lens dependent/etc likely of course), more 'glint' in the eye, possibly also 640 height too and incorporating more 'context', for a little more balance within the composition, would have made this even better in my opinion, but difficult to 'get it all'. Otherwise 'as is' but trying to 'somehow' accentuate the effect of those slightly raised wings/etc, if that makes sense. Up to 8 from 7.

The compositoin would work better if the bird was looking the opposite direction. A very nice isolation of subject, though.
