Somehow for a landscape shot, I expected to see a broader view. Unless my depth perception is off, this looks like a picture of a cactus and a really big boulder.

Nice shot, I love the tones of the rock and sand in the foreground. A pity that the very edge of the cactus is clipped. The sky also looks a bit flat - like it's a painting - but light in places like this can make things look a bit odd like that.

A border may have helped contain the image a bit and focus on the cactus better - JMHO.
