Wow... such a wonderful expression on the cat's face. It's just beautiful. Great colors as well. I love the sense of mystery that the blending into the black background creates. I think the soft focus works well because it adds to the mysterious feel, and the hairs are distinct enough - so it does not feel like anything is lacking in focus that needs to be focused, if that makes sense. I would maybe like it if cropped tighter on the left and bottom, but nevertheless it is a great image and it is going in my favorites!

this is a great capture. the focus and clarity is perfect and i like the light and tones a lot. i wish we could see the whole wing on the left, composition might have been more powerful. still a great shot.
