Though the day be stony & gray, there is a path across. Though my thoughts weigh heavy I have a path before me that will see me safely across the river of sorrow. This is the mood and feel I get from looking at the composition.

I really don't get the ear-muffs though. They seem a bit distracting for me.
And the socks (appear) to be worn on the toes..
