I gave it a 7. My guess is the 1 came from one of the "out of the box" folks who saw it as a technically well done landscape, but not anything that spoke to them. Would probably make a great artsy b/w , BTW!

Looks like I gave this a 7. Putting my critical thinking cap on:
-I like the leading lines of the dock. I might have cropped it a little tighter on the left to put the near end in the rule of third zone.
-The highlight details on the water are blown out. It's a hard thing to expose for at sunset.
-Maybe a little to orangey for me. I kind of like balancing my sunsets with a little more blue in the sky. But that is a personal preference and a nitpick.

I love the very clean look of the green against the white and nature made this plant for the challenge. Too much space on the right for me, but still a lovely image. Voted earlier.

Thank you Paul! It was a total last minute Lucy entry and sunset is after rollover time so the sun wasn’t ideal blah blah blah - low score. Worst part is - I approached this week’s abstract in the same fashion and fear it will finish even worse LOL. Lesson learned - I need to plan better!
