My father was the pilot...by OculusComment by ladyhawk22: I LOVE the reflections in the memorial. I almost wish the embracing couple was crouching down so that those reflections were a larger part of the photo. B&W tones come out very well in this shot. |

My father was the pilot...by OculusComment by boyd2000: Very well done. I was thinking it was excellent handling of a reflection but further investigation shows it's plexiglass. The faceless emotion is very evident here. The shadows on the arms are unfortunate. Looking at the names, are you thearendts Jon Arendt? A little hint, don't PM me back now so you retain what anonymity you still have. 8 |

My father was the pilot...by OculusComment by Alain: I'm so sorry, this must be Lufthansa Flight 2420 that crashed on November 6, 2002 along the Trêves Highway in Niederanven, just a few nautical miles short of Findel's Runway 24.
Very emotional picture, beautifully done. My choice for a ribbon. |

My father was the pilot...by OculusComment by littlegett: I don't understand the title to the image, I don't know where the people are, but all I can assume is they are paying respects to someone passed. For me, I guess I had to be there, cause it doesn't really hold strong emotion over me. |

My father was the pilot...by OculusComment by jdannels: very strong image, I like the use of lighting here and I really like the see through reflections of the memorial, also the top line of the memorial leads me into the faces of the two individuals. Real good use of lines. I think this will do well, good work. a small part of me feels like this is a bit set up but I am not voting anyways. even if set up it still is a good example of what the challenge wanted. |
