Hmmm, this is an excellent image.
I think the soft look definitely works for a baby portrait.

I'm not sure about the crop at the top. Would have to see the entire image to be sure.

I'm trying to find something, anything to suggest. How about using a different blanket behind him? One with no stripes and a complimentary colour.

Beautiful shot and expression. I think it might have been interesting to crop a little more at the top to make the crop you chose a little stronge, giving his expression more importance in the frame.

Leifur the Lucky! I hope! Til hamingju. What a rosey charmer! I love the half a wink and that baby smile. The light has captured that beautiful soft baby skin. You've maximized his face, and minimized the background - good - but wish we could have the top of his head too.

Definately someone to give thanks for. I think this is one of the top photos in my opinion not just because he is a cute baby but the image is sharp and lighting is good Its just a shame you chopped his head off at the top.He gets my vote!
