This is a good interpretation of the theme. I bet recycling is incredibly important in Japan. Interesting to see this stuff sorted instead of just tossed in a pile.

This reminds me of the Three Colors movie trilogy - Blue, White, and Red. There are several threads running from movie to movie and one involves women throwing away a bottle. Each represents a different stage of life. Here we have the young girl on a bicycle, an older person in the car, most likely impatient with the elderly woman walking. Simply fantastic street photography.

Love the bin colors. Some of the cans are too silvery/shiny and detract from the strong colors
