autumn blues by kolasiComment by jdannels: my first thought was that the blue toning doesn't suit this image, it is a little hard to look at. However I realy like the image as there are atleast 4 birds hidden about. I understand you probably would want this blue for the challenge but doesn't really work for me. The image is very interesting though. |

and then there was manby kolasiComment by MacDonald: As per my usual, as I am late in commenting I won't read others comments so forgive me if I am repeating what has already been said:
What a visual impact - I feel like I have gone back in time - everyting works ... the grain, the fog, the scattered figures... the sense that something is going to happen and I don't know if I want to be there when it does - wonderful shot, and great pp. |

a home is never finished, only abandonedby kolasiComment by colorcarnival: i wish a lot of the voters had followed you thru your Japan series because they would see such a contrast between what you saw then and what you see now. is this completely abandoned or are some people still living there? it's an interesting find. |

a home is never finished, only abandonedby kolasiComment by rinac: A thought provoking title to go with this photograph. Something appears to have gone awry upon resize or saving for web though, as I'm seeing odd pixel distortion throughout the image. Over-sharp/jagged edges alongside blurred areas. It's distracting me away from fully enjoying the story you're trying to tell. |

and then there was manby kolasiComment by crik: The foreground darkness leads into the eerie lurking figures and creates an interesting photo of mystery and intrigue. |
