Hi there!
I thought about doing rock candy, but couldn't find any. This is a nicely colorful shot. The idea is good, but there are some flaws. The focus is not sharp anywhere. At least a part of the image should be clearly focused. Also the composition suffers from the out of focus background. Don't know what it is...almost looks like an olive.
If you'd cropped out that section on the right, with the bg on down, the composition would work better.
I think because of the colors and texture you should work with this subject again. The potential is there.

Good composition, focus. My small negative remark is that there is a ton of yellow and think it needs a bit more green. Otherwise......fantastic shot. Good clean, clear work. I like the shallow dof here.

This is pretty cool... to me they don't look to sharp, but I'm sure they are. Nice use of DOF here.... I also like your composition. I might have cropped down just slightly from the top, but not too much. Interesting photo and NO FLOWERS! Good luck!
